I didn’t know anything about the punisher so as a huge Spider-Man this was a perfect way to learn about who he is before his appearance in Brand New Day.

I feel like i didn’t have to have seen anything before it or have any prior knowledge on Frank and that everything was explained well. Like his past, motives and family etc.

So in my opinion this serves as a great introduction for the character.

As I’m definitely going to watch his series now!

I feel like marvel definitely did this on purpose for people who are interested in the character before seeing Brand New Day, as it doesn’t require watching multiple seasons.

That’s basically all i wanted to say.
