I miss it. These last couple Onslaught seasons I found myself qualifying, then falling off as i'd rather play the other limited time modes, and then not even wanting to try to catch up on the missions once behind by a week or more.

Onslaught Light is way lower pressure and I can grind premiums and stock 8s. It's like FL but with short matches.

We've only had 2 seasons of it, one in July and one in September so it should be...soon^TM ?

It's still as frustratingly difficult to clear Brutal without a platoon or the optimal tanks as ever, the Lootboxes are as predatory as ever.

BUT

The progression finally doesn't completely blow! Losing at higher difficulties actually gives alright returns. In previous years if you couldn't clear Brutal, the last leg was a mountain and only beating every wave gave more than a pittance of data/decrypts. I couldn't manage completion^^^giggity in any of the earlier iterations and missed on on 3D attachments and other stuff.

Now Brutal is just an extra box and a badge. I'm already on level 9 just playing an hour on weeknights and a few hours on the weekend.

WG, please keep this Last Stand Progression going forward. The events still has pr📦blems, but being able to really progress through losses makes an enormous difference in keeping my interest in playing it.

My biggest remaining gameplay gripes are:

1. Trappers should light up immediately. Dodging 2-3 zones before you even know where the fucker is sucks.

2. Boss should reach base at end of timer. As of now the final round is actually 40 sec short, but you can't know that until you lose with the timer still going.

3. Rentals should include at least one good premiums for the mode. They can't be used in Randoms anyway, why not give everyone a taste of the good shit and maybe entice sales in the process?

Also, every enemy with a TT equivalent should be an obtainable/ buyable skin. They all look dope! And I want to buy individual attachments from previous years. I missed a few, and would pay gold, but not for the whole lot.
