Just got Iroha, is she worth it?

Just to give you a bit of context, I started around 2 weeks ago and am having a blast, my current party is composed of Lana, MC (Fighter) and Prishe in the front row and Jean, Alice and Asha in the back row. All of them are lvl 20, no grade exam done yet.
I selected Prishe in the free event character give away in Beginning Abyss, with the NPC giving one scroll.
I just got Iroha in one of the scrolls given as a daily and was wondering if she would be worth investing into, considering she also has 8 BP right now (screenshot )(not sure if she got an IV or not, my Prishe was at 19 or 20 if I remember correctly, she normally had one when I checked).
If so, which stat(s) should I choose? This character feels odd to me as I don't know if she is more considered a fighter/samurai or a priest? And who would you replace in my current party for her?
Also, while I am at it, would you suggest continuing the main story and grade exams rather than the event for now? I am in the second run of the FFXI event, but the shadow lord's AOEs are basically kicking my butt and farming for gear and attestations in the castle does not seem that interesting as the numbers are low and the tier bronze only.
