I dont knownif this counts as poetry but I wanted to see what yall thought

Favorite color:

I don't think my favorite color will ever be anything besides that light blue.

I don't think she knows that blue wasn't my favorite color, it was green.

Because in my eyes green was nature and nature was the most beautiful thing on this planet, the forest and the fields nothing compared.

But then I saw those eyes, the eyes that captured the ocean, the eyes that portrayed the sky, the eyes that stole my favorite color.

No matter what it will always be, the light blue of your eyes.
