How much can a school-based BCBA expect to make?

RBT going through the absolute meat grinder that is getting the 2000 hours. Can school based BCBAs expect to make as much as clinic or home or remote BCBAs? I know that BCBAs are about to start making a lot less when all the Medicaid/insurance/PE bubble stuff finally pops. Any estimates?

INB4 "You shouldn't go in to this field for money": Not relevant. I will stop caring about money when society stops running on it.

I have a BCBA master's but getting supervision is literally fucking impossible. Are there any other jobs you can get with an ABA degree that pay more than pennies?

Alright, is the BACB pulling some kind of practical joke with this "unrestricted hours" thing they talk about in their manual? Like is this some kind of inside joke I'm missing, cause apparently unrestricted hours don't actually exist. Have any of you fellow RBTs ever actually recieved an unrestricted hour?

26yo with bachelors in psychology and masters in behavior analysis. Wanted to become a BCBA, having a very hard time doing so - 2000 supervised fieldwork hours are a bitch to obtain when every company is so stingy with letting you actually get hours that count for field work - and beginning to doubt I'll enjoy the job or make six figs anyways.

I've heard getting a PHD can make it harder to get hired, but I also really just want like, an actually good job that is like spreadsheet paperwork research type stuff. Is it worth it getting a Psychology PHD? Or Neuropsychology? Or whatever I can get into? If that's my goal in life? I was nervous about the idea of heaping on more student loans but at this point I don't care. My concerns are not financial based, solely "can I get hired" and "will whatever I get hired for pay well".

RBT in Pennsylvania. Have the masters degree for a BBA, was not able to collect any hours while getting it. "Oh you shouldve done a program that gave you hours" - don't bother commenting this, it's not helpful. "Oh you should ask your job for hours" - I have been pestering them for months and theyre not giving me jack shit. Only option is to pay for hours. Is there anyone out there who has paid for hours that can recommend a good company or person for it?
