Come play Cube with us at MagicCon Amsterdam
Hello everyone,
I want to invite you to join us for some rounds of Cube play at MagicCon Amsterdam, over at the CubeCorner! We have eleven different cubes and one cube-like event on offer for anybody to play, for free.
Anybody who shows up will get to cube!
No matter your level of experience, we welcome anybody from total cube noob to hardened cube veteran.
What is this event?
CubeCorner is a small, low-stakes Cube event we (a small group of Cube enthusiasts) are hosting at the MC. This is not, however, a tournament. You can just register for some of our Cubes' drafts and play!
What even is Cube?
Cube is a fan made Magic format where you get to draft from curated sets of cards, build decks (typically 40 cards) and jam them against each other. It is a blast!
How can you join a draft?
We have a schedule of cube drafts which you can find on our website cubecorner.nl. There you can register for said events.
If an draft pod is full, or you want to draft that cube at some other point, please talk to us and we can try to make that happen.
The drafts will fire with any amount of players that are registered and ready at the table.
What cubes are on offer?
You can find our roster of cubes on the website too.
Where can you find us?
We will be situated somewhere in the free play area, taking up a couple of rows of table. We don't have an official event space*, but we will be sure to announce where we are on our Discord, which you can find through our website as well.
Also look out for our mascot Cuub.
*) We also have an actual official Cube event, where we host up to three first come first served cube drafts.
Do you need to bring anything?
No! You don't need to provide anything (except maybe your favourite set of dice) to join us for some games. It is also free of charge.
