Creative Work: My Hero Academia as Transformers pt. 2
This is part two of my creative work adapting the characters from Class 1A in My Hero Academia into Transformers. Since my first post seems alright to post here, until I’m told otherwise, I’d like to keep sharing my project, so here is Herobot Uravity.
If you haven’t read about my lore for the Herobots as a team, I urge you to read about it in my post of Herobot Deku!
For Uravity, she hails from the lower income community of Planet Technomicron, raised by two doting and loving guardian figures, who gave everything to give her the life she deserved. She joined the Herobot Academy because the pay for being a Herobot was good, and it’s not because she’s only in it for the money. She had intended to give back to her guardians enough so they could retire from their careers. Unfortunately, she was never able to fulfill this dream, as the war broke out before she could finish her Academy training. Now reunited with the Autobots, she has been searching through files of any possible remaining Technomicronians, any hints to whether her guardians are even still alive.
A bubbly and friendly natured bot, she is best friends with Herobot Deku, and there are signs that the two might have a deeper bond than anyone realizes, as in the field, unless she’s leading an evacuation team, she is covering Deku’s six.
Better suited for search and rescue than hand to hand combat, she isn’t fully helpless in a fight. She’s outfitted with zero-gravity pulsars in her fingertips, and can temporarily disrupt the electromagnetic field around objects up to and including the size of Omega Supreme and negate the gravity on said object or person. However, the larger the mass, the more strain on her internal mechanisms there is, causing her to cough up Energon and oils if overspent. She can also float through the air as if she were weightless thanks to her pedes and back panels using the same zero-gravity technology to lift into the air. She also has four detachable rotor blades that, in robot mode, she can detach to give other Autobots who don’t have a good means of protecting themselves in close distance a tool to defend with.
Her vehicle mode is a rescue helicopter, and her beast mode is a Feline, which allows her more agility in the air and maneuverability, in addition to better scouting from above and evacuation directing.
Uravity’s two bot combiner forms, assuming she takes the top, are as follows. I should mention that the Two Bot names follow [TopBottom] splicing:
UraviDeku (Deku)
UravIum (Ingenium)
UravOppy (Froppy)
UraviYomi (Tsukuyomi)
UraviMight (Dynamight)
UraviBolt (Chargebolt)
UraviRiot (Red Riot)
UraviPinky (Pinky)
UraviBird (Firebird, who is my version of Todoroki)
UraviTail (Tailman)
UraVis (Invisible, my version of Invisible Girl)
UravIma(Anima)
UraviCole (Tentacole)
UraviTi (Creati. Yes, the combined name is pronounced the same as Uravity’s normal name, I’m limited in how I splice the names together. This is a recurring I’ve faced))
UraviJack (Earphone Jack)
UraviJuice (Grape Juice)
UraviSuga (Suga, AKA, Sugarbot, my version of Sugarman)
Urav.S.T. (C.S.T., the abbreviation of Can’t Stop Twinkling, my version of Can’t Stop Twinkling)
For three and four bot combiners, whomever takes the center determines the name, as well as utilizing the phrase Plus Ultra.
Three bot combiner with Uravity Center: Uravity Plus
Four bot combiner with Uravity Center: Uravity Ultra
It does not matter who forms the limbs, only the torso or center matters.
For five bot, when Uravity takes the center position, the Five Bot Gestalt is named Uraviton, appropriately a reference to ‘graviton’ and her own name. When she forms this gestalt, it usually means she’s pretty desperate… or watched Deku fall in front of her in battle and her emotions are operating at extreme panic levels.
Let me know what you think of Uravity, because I have more of the Herobots drawn out with more in the works, and if you want to hear more lore going forward, let me know! Any criticisms or questions are more than welcome!
