What country are you from and did you get the player representing it? FTG knows where im from for sure lmao

since this event came out, a lot of people have been hating on it because we can't upgrade players, or because they keep packing players who don't have the potential to go far in the world cup. but honestly, for some reason i love the idea of this event. in fact, it's probably their best event imo.

not everything has to be about grinding for overpowered cards. i don't really get why people are so obsessed with chasing the highest-rated cards and just mindlessly grinding for them. with this type of event, there's actually some suspense and excitement. personally, i love all the players i've gotten and the ones i'll get in the future. i don't really care about getting specific OP players because i feel like that's what makes it boring.

i've been playing since dls 20, and one of my favorite things has always been collecting unique cards, not just the highest-rated ones since most of us already have them anyway. every account ends up looking the same when everyone is only chasing meta players. i really love having a diverse squad with players from different regions and i feel like thats why i rly love this event. i enjoy having a squad with variety instead of just filling it with the same op cards everyone else has.

so yeah guys, for those who are only chasing op cards, maybe try looking at the game differently because, imo, that way of playing gets really boring. seriously, ftg did a great job for the first time in a while, and this is a great concept. it actually feels refreshing. i'd much rather see them come up with more stuff like this instead of just dropping a bunch of cards for us to grind and max out.

and honestly, part of football is appreciating different players and enjoying the randomness. not every card has to be broken to be fun. sometimes having unique players, different nationalities, and unexpected teams makes the game way more interesting. that's what gives your club personality and makes it feel like your own team instead of just another copy of everyone else's.
