New to Derby & a previous L2 & L3 Fracture

Hello!

I recently joined a team and I am noticing that after staying in the derby stance, my low back hurts pretty bad. I broke my back about a year ago and before that I was in the gym 4 days a week and teaching yoga. Im mostly back to that and go to crossfit 3-4 days a week and started teaching yoga again.

I honestly didnt think id struggle so hard in my derby stance and I am looking to see if any one else has ever had a similar injury. I tried kt tape last night and that helped a ton, and I am going to focus more on my core.

Im pretty committed to not quitting, but its pretty painful at the end of practice.
