I am wondering if anyone knows if the EPU on a 2025 Smeal 75ft ladder truck is a direct battery feed (if we lost all power, the EPU would still work) or if its dependent on the aerial master to be on and powered in order for the EPU to work?
Im asking to see if there was a total electrical/power failure, if the EPU will still work or not.

Im looking at this 1986 f250 (dually conversion) truck that has the 6.9 diesel in it with the T18 transmission. It appears to be mechanically in good shape with very little to no blow by. Does need tires + an alignment. Body is solid with very little rust and if there is rust its only surface. The paint has seen better days. Interior is pretty clean other than the dash.
What would y’all pay for this truck?
Im looking at buying a bricknose (1988) ford and doing the conversion to a bullnose front end since i think the bullnose front end looks better. Has anyone done this conversion before and have any tips or advice. Thanks.
