Ballet flats
I recently got new ballet flats. My old ones felt snug but my toes felt a bit scrunched also the heels would occasionally slide down. Can you guys comment on the fit of the new ones? I’m not sure if they’re too baggy or they can work.

Any tips for a more aesthetically pleasing cabriole devant? Every time I think about jumping higher, I get scared that I might lean back too much and fall. Also how do you make the working leg rebound higher?
For context, I quit ballet around 3 years ago and recently restarted as an adult. I first joined adult class but my teacher asked me to train with the senior prepro teens. My background and foundation in ballet was okay for the most part but there are some technical deficiencies that were not addressed last time. I had quite a bad teacher last time and most of the progress was my hard work. In the class, I can’t help but feel a bit out of place like the teens were doing triple and quadruple pirouettes and I’m the oldest one in the class. I really love their training and have gotten stronger and more flexible but there are still times when the self-consciousness starts to creep in.
How do you make an entrechat six look good? For me, it always looks like the feet are very hectic and not suspended like in an entrechat quatre. I think it’s because in the quartre, my feet are going more side side and I don’t have time to do the side side in the six. Also it doesn’t look like I’m beating a lot even though I beat thrice if that makes senseee
Hello guys!! Many of you have seen my crazy reverse arching pointe shoes hahahah. These are my kinda broken in capezio Ava’s. Can you guys comment on the fit of these? I feel like I can get over more but my left ankle has a real tendency to sickle on pointe especially on one foot and I have to put my shoe on kinda winged to prevent that. It’s also just a tad bit unstable and my big toe’s feeling more pressure than the reverse arching shoes. The last two are the reverse archy ones.
Hi guys. Can you comment on the pointe shoe fit? I’m not twisting and the pain is quite minimal. There’s also really great roll through. But the reverse arching is a bit extreme especially on my left foot (the back foot in the first picture). The aesthetics don’t really matter too much but is it dangerous to be dancing in these? Sometimes I feel like the shoe especially the left almost tries to pull me back a bit and I’m dancing in this weird Demi pointe position even though I’m getting on the box. And if I relax even a bit, it’s really easy to fall off pointe.
