PMP 40 Processes with Focus Areas & Performance Domains & Andrews Course Section

Hi all!

I’m currently studying for the PMP and taking Andrew Ramdayal’s course. I’m in his section covering the 40 processes, and it’s 15 hours long and goes very in-depth into each process, including all of the ITTOs.

I’m trying to figure out how much of this I actually need to know for the exam. Do I need to memorize all 40 processes and their ITTOs, or is the goal more to understand what each process does, when it happens, and how it relates to the performance domains/focus areas?

For those who have taken the exam recently, how are questions about the 40 processes actually worded? Are they asking you to identify a specific process, input/tool/output, etc., or are they more situational questions where you need to understand what the PM should do next?

Basically, what do I realistically need to know from the 40-process section, and how would you recommend studying it without spending hours trying to memorize every ITTO**?**

I’m still working through the required course, so I want to make sure I’m spending my study time on the things that actually matter for the exam. Thanks!
