Why does my crochet project looks messy instead of being neat?
So, it's the first time I'm ever crocheting something, and I decided to make a Spider-Man cardigan (the webbed one). I haven't missed a single stitch and have been super cautious to make it perfect, but why does it look so crooked and messy instead of flat and neat? I'm so confused about what I'm doing wrong. Should I continue and will it be okay in the end, or should I start over?
P.S. I tried making the magic circle, but after so many attempts and trying different techniques from YouTube, I still couldn't get it to close properly, it kept opening right up after 2 to 3 rows.
Any tips for that would be hugely appreciated!
