Very greasy ears

Very greasy ears

*First of all, I have taken him to the vet and made sure it’s not ear mite/any health problem.*

Chestnut is 3.5 years old, and as he grows, he started developing very greasy/dirty ears. I had other cats before but haven’t seen this level of greasy-ness. 😩

- The area behind the back of his ear got this “wet” look from oil buildup (picture), which doesn’t come off from daily brushing.
- He has A LOT of gunk in his ear, brown and oily. It doesn’t bother him but it looks really gross. They also come back quickly after being cleaned.

I use pet wipe and OTC ear drops occasionally to clean up, but just wondering if it’s normal for ragdolls (I assume also other long hair cats?)? Is there anything I should be doing or just accept the fact that he is a greasy boy?

For those working non-traditional hours, how do you like it?

I am about to start a new role working in line with ET timezones. I’m fairly used to long hours in general but have heard some people say that the shifted pattern can be soul crushing.

How do you find working non 9-x patterns? Is there any tip or lifestyle changes you’ve made to make it more enjoyable?

Edit: thank you so much for all the responses!!! They have been super helpful and I had a decent list already :)

Hi everyone, long time lurker here!

I’m looking for recommendations for nice restaurants around King’s Cross/st Pancras station area that has:

- nice food
- suitable/quiet enough for a casual business meeting
- budget not an issue, but not multi-course ££££ food that takes 5 hours as we are aiming to do a quick/informal diner

The VP from my company will be visiting London and looking to meet myself for the first time in person (US company). I’m not familiar with the area so appreciate any recommendation here!
