This one was an absolute Doozy.
I won't post any spoilers or hints till the MOD hint gets dropped but let's start talking about it!
There's pretty much 1 starting point to figure out. Normally once you have that in these puzzles it's easy, but this one took work on the type advantages.
I am on an 18 day streak, which in my time zone means I haven't missed a day.
This is just what I do and some logic tips.
I apologise if the images are spoilers based on other people's timezones. I've designed them to be minimal and aligned with the moderator provided hint for today. I'm submitting this in good faith, after midnight in my timezone within Australia.
If I'm on PC, I open a notepad and write down the names of all of the Pokemon involved in the Pokesort. I'll list the relevant information like typing, evo stage and generation then reorder the mons in notepad for what is relevant to the Pokesort. I use Google if unsure of any info (Mainly Gen because I'm bad at that). It really doesn't take long.
I look for a solid starting point based on the puzzle and then test the theory before submitting. For example, "left Pokemon is super effective against right". Hypothetically if there are 3 normal mons, 1 fire, 1 water and 1 grass mon this helps to start solving potential mons for that single slot in the puzzle by testing each of the mons with an element in the first slot.
In my notepad I had that Murkrow was Super effective against Slowbro and that Chickorita was super effective against Slowbro, Palpitoad and Horsea so one of those two mons had to fall within that slot. I used this as my starting point to test theories.
When you have all the information in front of you and are patient it can always be solved. The problem is when you just wing it and use all your chances then get upset because you couldn't figure it out.
I hope this helps people.
