I was diagnosed with diverticulitis on Thursday, started 1 dose of antibiotics that night in the ER and the first full course on Friday.

It is now Sunday and I have still been needing to take the pain killers because I am still in pain.

Is this normal?

How long were you out of work for during your bout of diverticulitis? How long did it take for antibiotics to make you feel well enough to get up and about?

Would it be weak of me to call out again tomorrow just in case I don't feel better?

I walk and talk to patients all day and work in a very busy clinic and the thought of that right now scares me because idk how I'll feel in the morning. Yesterday I woke up in horrendous pain, even more than the day before, so I do not know what tomorrow will bring, ya know?

Can you please give me advice?

I was told I have a 2.8cm ovarian cyst (non suspicious) on the right ovary, and one on the left that is much smaller, but suspicious...why is the small one suspicious?!

I have been in so much pain and been so ill I have not been able to go to work for a week! I have tried going to work today and I worry it was a mistake.

The ER told me the cyst may have ruptured. How long will the pain last?!

I currently have mirena, but my guess is I need it replaced because I'm getting cysts again and it's the only thing that's helped me prevent them this far.

I have an appointment tomorrow morning with my doctor but can't get into the obgyn until August. What do I do? I have burned through all my sick time and pto but I'm still in pain and struggling to work.
