I’m trying to pick up guitar and I’m struggling with fitting all of my fingers in the same fret on an A chord. I have my brother’s old guitar from when we were kids.

I have some pretty large paws, I wear XXL gloves most of the time and work with my hands a lot so I’ve got pretty thick fingers. Is this a suck it up and get good situation or do I really need a different guitar that’s made for fat hands like mine?

I’m not doing a 123 grip on my A, it’s a 213 where my index stays on the G string to kind of anchor for switching to D chord.

I’m on 50mg of Lisdexamfet by Alvogen, (generic Vyvance) and I feel like every morning is playing roulette. I follow the same routine, eat then pill, some days feel great, other days I get muscle spasms as the medication kicks in, other days I get an elevated heart rate and anxiety. Today, heart rate spikes to like 105 for a few minutes. Seems all over the place like 78-105 all while just sitting. Blood pressure seems normal though, 120/80, 117/77, 107/71 114/73 taken about 1-2 minutes apart.

Can someone help me figure this out? I used to take adderall instant release and didn’t have any of these issues, but that was 4 years ago.

Been on this for 2.5 weeks. This was my starting dose, I did not titrate up from 30 or anything. I haven’t been taking any caffeine.
