im at season 9 episode 7 now and why the heck are they all opposites and don't know tex or everything that happened while they randomly cut to previous random fight scenes from the freelancers program??????

i am still watching season 6 or the mini series i don't remember pretty well, but i am just asking, if church is alpha, then how did he meet sheila and sarge's half-ghost in season 1?
like, wasn't he the alpha??????
and also what did yellow church do to become yellow and go into caboose's mind and go in halo ce?????
