Arle + Mona (C4) Rotation example

A followup example to my previous post re: the new BiS arle team. The new set makes c4 mona better than c0 Citlali by around 10% (c2 mona is around the same as c0 citlali, c2 Citlali is like 15-20%>c4 mona). n1w 3n3d is slightly better than 2n2w n3, but my execution on that combo is v inconsistent still.

Did Arle get a new Best Team?

So it turns out the new artifact set is very strong... I have infinite energy setting turned on because all my artifacts for mona are at +0 because I do not have a complete set for her, but when fully built it shouldn’t be a problem.

This is C1 Arle with r1 PJWS, bennet on alley hunter, sucrose on Sac Frag, Mona is c5 on Favonius. With Sucrose + TTDS Citlali I get 150k dps, and with Homa Escoffier + TTDS Citlali I get 160k dps, so i’m a little surprised at now much better this is, and feels way easier to do as well. Not to mention, arle is the only limited char in this team. (YOU DO NEED C2 MONA THOUGH)

The rotation i’ve been doing here was:

Arle e -> bennet (e)q -> sucrose e -> mona eqn1 -> arle CA 2n2w n5 -> mona n2 -> arle 2n2w n3 e -> bennet …

What if every Stage 2 deck had a Drakolak?

Is Pult dominant because it's too strong, or is it because other decks are too inconsistent and volatile? My discontent this format is mostly due to just how frustrating some decks are to play. They often feel like they lose to themselves, rather than getting outplayed, due to poor consistency from not drawing what they need (like team rockets Mewtwo having difficulty finding special energies, starmie, ) or they have really weird matchup spreads (Alakazam not being able to do anything into TRM2 or Zoro/Chomp when grass decks are also popular, Lopunny into Chomp/Luc).

One of the things I miss the most is on-field, in-engine consistency pieces, Drakolak being the shining example. Be it draw power like Lak/Gold, energy fixing like Garde, searching like Pigeot/Miraidon, being rewarded for, and assisted on the way towards, an "ideal" board felt so nice. The dundun engine feels really good in some decks, like Lopunny where there's decent synergy, but otherwise feels like a band-aid to a bigger problem. Obviously we have a couple others (N's Zoroark, Gabite, Kang, Thwackey, Lunatone, Zam), but they really suffer from the volatile match-up spreads unlike Pult, which is another issue with the format I really dislike.

tldr; I want more decks designed like Pult rather than a Pult "nerf"/waiting for it to rotate out and having future formats follow the current game design approach.

Short list of Disclaimers:

- I wish Constellations were toggle-able

- Rounded these to the nearest _5k to emphasize it’s more a personalized ballpark.

- Nefer build is top 2%, 60 fps, 30-50 ms ping, tested on mobile

- GEAR WAS KEPT CONSTANT. Your results may vary depending on your energy requirements and thresholds. For example, running fav> forest regalia/sapwood in theory would allow you to build less er on lauma/bina, i don’t have artifacts that take advantage of that test it yourself. You may also struggle to pick up the leaf sometimes.

- I want to revisit this eventually with SO preset (no energy to begin with)

- The Hex core with aino might be even higher with way better gameplay, i couldn’t replicate the 1 cost herra clear for the life of me. Someone pointed out that it was (likely) only possible due to 151 fps which sped up dew gen, the biggest issue with that comp, but I’m not an expert on frame theory.

Please let me know any questions, like rotation and gearing wise that isn’t addressed, or if something looks off and should be tested again
