Tiktok unorignallity

There’s nothing quite like spending hours coming up with a product, a name, a video idea, a display, a promotion or a completely ridiculous little marketing gimmick… only to open TikTok and discover someone has apparently decided your business is their unpaid creative department. 😂

Some businesses don’t seem to have a business plan — they have a “What did everyone else post today?” plan.

You create something → copied.

You try a new idea → copied.

You make a cheeky product → suddenly everyone has one.

You come up with a clever video → magically it appears on someone else’s page with absolutely zero originality.

And the funniest part?

They’ll act like they invented it.

At this point, I’m expecting someone to copy me opening the door in the morning and call it their “innovative behind-the-scenes content strategy.” 😂

Here’s the thing: inspiration is one thing. Copying someone’s entire personality, product ideas, captions, names, content style and marketing ideas is something completely different.

Be inspired. Be competitive. But for the love of TikTok, DEVELOP AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT. 🤣

Because if I wanted to run your business too, I’d send you an invoice for the consulting.
