So I've been seeing both on the Devon community and this one saying that this Hi-Fi album is fake fan made one. I didn't comment on it when it dropped because I'm honestly confused how anyone can actually tell, but also didn't care enough to find out. Until today, opening YouTube, it shows Jpegs official channel had posted Hi-Fi songs three days ago. So the compilation album isn't fake? If not what made people so confident it was fake?
Y'all think it's going to be more like the first half or the second half of the album for the directors cut? I thought it was classic Peggy from The Ghost of Emmett Till and on. He had more flow switches in the second half and it was easier to understand him because he didn't have that muffled radio effect on his voice like in the earlier tracks.
Maybe there's going to be extra songs with Dattpif and Freaky.

Who tf is gonna make an album this versatile? He's only breaking his own records with his own discography at this point. Lol
Hating before the album is even out.
So I have been of the same opinion that his flow has been a little too compressed together as of late and that it was kind of clashing with the beat. But then I played the songs on some good speakers not just my phone and it sounds way more balanced and actually fits with the song.
Not sure if that's just me but at first it was hard to understand him in War Over Land. I played it on my Anker speaker and I could hear him clearly with every word and it got me thinking maybe it's just our shitty speakers/earbuds being out of balance with certain premade equalizer settings? Lmao
But apart from that I noticed this being a pattern with most of his music that is new, people find his rapping as a nuisance because they enjoy the beat so much they don't want to hear his vocals. There are posts here showing up to this day of people finally clicking after a few listens of how good Veteran or AMHAC sounds.
And it's my belief that it's because they're finally accepting the song as a package deal instead of trying to dissect just the parts they like. And when that happens it becomes a whole new texture to your ears. Just a weird random opinion. Not saying his flow hasn't changed to a faster pace but it doesn't sound bad on better speakers and I can hear every word and keep up because of it.

Whole time it's pirates.
I don't think this video has been posted on here yet. Really cool behind the scenes look for the making of Babygirl music video.
