I built an app to make my woodworking time more productive
I'm a woodworker (and an engineer by day), and I hate swapping apps to do the things I need to do in the shop. Every time I switch apps its an open invitation to check socials, emails, and doomscroll. so I built Woodworker's Toolbox: a set of offline calculators and reference charts for the shop.
What's in it:
Fraction calculator (add/subtract/multiply/divide, auto-simplified) Board feet + lumber cost Drill bit selector, pilot hole chart, and a new pocket-hole screw guide Wood species database (280 species) with Janka hardness, shrinkage, and movement Wood movement calculator, unit converter, and more
I just shipped v1.4: full metric support across every tool, the pocket-hole guide, and an expanded species database covering Africa, Europe, and other regions. https://apps.apple.com/app/id6758488541
Happy to answer anything or hear what you'd want added — I'm a solo dev, and I am want this to be the go-to app for woodworkers and DIY'ers.
