Under-used themed team wanted
So after years of playing through Ruby/Sapphire with pretty much the same Pokémon every time (Starter plus the typical Hoenn go to mons), I decided to play through Emerald with a bit of a twist, by wanting to build the team with Pokémon that I have never truly given a chance, because they've either outshined by others or gotten available way too late, and now after the third Gym I have my current team of Dustox, Sableye and Chinchou (which I traded one bred from an egg), and Combusken (which I have used as a roster filler for now), but I wanna switch out my starter and find another 2 Pokémon that are a bit out there, but also would work for team comp. Ex. I don't want to use the typical Hoenn team picks like Gardevoir, Aggron, Slaking, Swellow, etc.
So does anyone have any ideas of Mons that I can use? If there isn't a type overlap that would be appreciated, but I can still work with it. Pokémon from FRLG are also options.
