It looks like the photos from the wedding are being rolled out slowly but this is a lovely photo of Nic and Olandria at the wedding that has just been release by the photographer. They look so good and expensive too.

After 10 months Ace comes out on a podcast to backtrack on his previous podcast with Speedy where he implied that Nic and Olandria were a fake couple.
He says he did it out of hurt because Nic did not back him and say that he and Chelley should have been in the final four.
I am not convinced by this apology (is it even one?). Nic did not say anything bad about Ace and was even supportive of him and in paticular hyped up the Speedy podcast before it was released, while not knowing it would attack him. Nic saying that the final four was right because America chose that way doesn't justify the attack from Ace which was premeditated rather than off the cuff. It is very childish to me and I think it stemmed from jealousy. He also stood by his claim for quite a while afterward saying he didn't do/say anything wrong.
This rebuttal is way too late. In all this time Olandria has alluded to having a period of mental health decline which Nic supported her on behind the scenes. Even her mother said she was depressed for a time. Nic showed he was saddened by the betrayal too.
Something makes me think Ace has said this now only because it impacted negatively on how he was perceived and his success after the show was not what he hoped. I think he lost out and while his Speedy podcast stirred up a lot of hate towards Nic and Olandria they have still exceeded expectation with their post villa success. So what did Ace really gain from this when he could have been in their circle and keeping a friendship going. Why did he need 10 months to backtrack?
Sadly I don't think the friendship will be repaired because trust is long gone and the attack was way overboard for a couple Ace apparently cared about and liked.

Since the Vulture article was shared of a reporter's opinion (or projection) that Nic played a role both inside the villa and outside (to please fans) that he genuinely likes Olandria, I thought to share both his and Olandria's official response to this in a new Elite Daily article on the Fake allegations. The rest of the article is a summary of the projections in the Vulture article.
I am fascinated that despite Nic telling the villa confessional on day 1 that he was interested in Olandria, choosing her as his one person to kiss in the blindfold challenge and other challenges, Taylor confirming that Nic told him several times he liked her over a number of weeks, his friendship foundation with her but also the chemistry that most viewers recognised in their Soul Ties kiss (which he initiated with a suggestion), that even then some people struggle to believe he really likes her. I am intrigued that when they did a few affectionate filled joint lives /interviews and event attendances soon after leaving the villa, naysayers insisted that they were fake, but when they later decided to be more lowkey and don't do couple content like others or post their private time ( which means we only see them at events), that the same naysayers who said they were fake when they were more open, still say this now they are lowkey because they're not seen together enough, even though that's what they decided to do except for public events. I wonder how a couple that barely does social media PR are still deemed only together for PR. I doesn't make sense.
Anyway my main strange observation is that it is one thing to quietly think that of all the season 7 love islanders that Nic and Olandria are fake, but quite another thing to witness parasocial fans essentially seem to dedicate their lives to building online communities and chat groups where they plot against them and where they project and try to prove they are fake with a level of passion that seems so overboard and unnormal. What is that all about? I suspect that there is some psychological basis to this but I wonder what all this will mean for future 'swirl' couples where it is the woman who is dark skinned and the man is an attractive white man and where they also happen to have a lot of hype and appear to be successful together against other couple contestants. Anyway I think that Nic's comment is spot on and key to a genuine relationship mindset that he is just focussed on his relationship with Olandria and "That's that." If it was fake that would not be the focus. The naysayers may be puzzling and irritating but they are just mainly anonymous accounts online that from his perspective are wrong.
