I'm finally taking control of my health.

I used to spend all my time at the gym. But after ten years, a bad injury, sitting at a desk all day, and completely letting myself go, things changed. I am officially at a weight where my health is at risk. It is really hard to accept this when I still remember what it felt like to be in the best shape of my life. When I decided to start taking tirzepatide, my goal was straightforward: I just want to feel comfortable and at home in my own skin again. No more excuses.

People who lost over 50 lbs, what surprised you most?

Mine is how freezing I am. I used to be a human radiator, always sweating, always running hot. Now that fifty-five pounds are gone, I wear hoodies in June. Losing that layer of insulation turned me into someone who shivers if the air conditioning is set below seventy-five degrees. What's yours?

Eating when you have zero appetite

Force-feeding myself chicken is not working anymore. How do you all get your nutrients in when nausea is real? Protein shakes are okay but I need actual fiber and substance.

10 lbs down but mirror says otherwise

6 weeks on the meds and down 10 lbs. Happy with progress but I have 60 more to go. Honestly, I look exactly the same in the mirror, hard to stay excited when you can't see a difference yet. Anyone else take forever to notice changes in their body?
