Black and red outfit made for an event

It took about 26 hours, and weighs over a kilo, but I’m so happy with it!

The handcuffs are two odd peyote cuffs connected with several singles as the chain.

The choker is odd peyote stitch panel tied with ribbon at the back like a corset.

The skirt is done entirely in x-base increasing the bead count every few layers, with a ribbon tied around the waist band to give structure and keep it up because of the elastic stretching due to the weight.

The top is freehand and constructed on my bust size and shape as I couldn’t find patterns that would suit a larger cup size. The cups are made almost entirely of stars but with varying amounts of beads connecting them to create the right shape and coverage. The neck strap, side panels, and the section between the cups were peyote stitch (side and middle panels odd, neck strap even).

If I were to tackle this project again I would make the side panels and neck strap of the top shorter (I am thinking about just taking them off and redoing them for this one tbf) as I kept having to pull it up. I would also use less beads on the waist band of the skirt to make it smaller and add more layers to make it longer although I would also want to find a way to distribute the weight better so the elastic doesn’t get too heavy and snap.
