What has happened?

Seriously, what has happened this place? I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and this was the 3rd time I’ve brought my own kids with me, the most recent (before this week) was 2 years ago when we had a wonderful time.

Hotel PortAventura - this place needs a complete redo. The staff openly hate the guests. I saw multiple examples of this and was smiled at while discussing a serious health issue with my room. I asked to speak to a manager, was told they would be available, but might be in 15 minutes. So I waited 15 minutes in the lobby, returned and asked if they were available to a dry smile and a “maybe in another 15, or 30, or could be more.” That’s only the start of it, I won’t go into the whole story.

The rooms are disgusting and clearly not cleaned well between guests. Lots and lots of mould, and creepy crawlers, even the main reception is covered in black mould that has been wiped with a cloth around the air con duct.

The park itself is great, but every single ride we queued on broke down at least once while we queued, Dragon Kahn, Stampida (we tried to get on it twice and twice it broke down), el Diablo, but none beat the screw up at uncharted where after queuing for nearly 90 minutes, then getting the “it’s out of order, someone will be along to help you out of the queue”. And did they? Of course not, my family waited 39 minutes, then decided to trip and step over everyone in the queue the whole way back to the entrance.

It’s going to be a long, long time before I return, if ever. Parks have issues, (I’ve been to lots) hotels have issues, but never has my family been treated like this before.

Is there a way to report this to PortAventura? Will they care? It feels to me it’s whole purpose is to bleed dry as many people as possible - even if it means loosing a few fans of the place in the process
