Even more Twokinds facts everyone "has" to know.

1.The daughter is watching.

There are multiple pages where one of the animals that are controled by Brahn's daughter are present in the background. (pages 55, 156, 1210)

2.Fred the hawk.

Hawk on page 597 has a name, and his name is Fred.

3.Mouse with a knife.

On page 1252 there is a mouse with a knife and a piece of cheese in the background.

4.Two different errors, two different titles.

Page 1227 technically has two titles and in both those titles an error. The first title is "A Forgotten Memery 2" while the second title is "A Forgotten Member 2". Both the first and second title of this page make an error where the word "Memory" should be, which is confirmed by the title of the page 1226 being "A Forgotten Memory".

5.There are some Twokinds pages that have two different titles.

These pages are: page 1244 ("Nora Awake 2" and "History Repeats Itself"), page 1246 ("Nora Awake 5 - Roasted" and "Boom Roasted!"), page 1254 ("Maeve and Reed 6 - Going Home" and "Maeve and Reed 6 - Take Me Home"), page 1255 ("Maeve and Reed 7 - Kidnapping for a Good Cause" and "Maeve and Reed 7 - Kidnapping for Good") and page 1293 ("Stay" and "Stay (With Me)").

6.Nora eats people.

In chapter 8 page 248 it is heavily implyed that Nora does sometime eat people, as she was considering eating others (in this case Keith and Natani), but decided not to since she assumed Trace wanted them alive.

7.Hidden Nibbly or Zen.

On the last panel of page 782 and 784 there seem to be eyes that are watching team B. This is probably either Zen, since Zen was trying to assasinate team B at this point in time, or Nibbly, since Nibbly got introduced a few pages later.

8.Page 2 character tags.

Trace and Flora are the only characters who have character tags on a comic page before chapter 18 page 941, and only on page 2 for some reason.

9.Natani not paying attention.

On the last panel of page 751 Natani is looking in the wrong direction.

10.Raine's lies.

Despite Raine saying that she can't voluntarily use magic under a magic suppressor, her first feet of magic in the comic is done while she had a magic suppressor. (pages 535, 782)

11.Heavy Raine.

There are two pages that have the exact same title, those pages being page 684 and page 968, and the title being "Heavy Raine". I guess Tom just loves pointing out that Raine is heavy, and make puns about heavy rain.

12.Sirus wanted.

On page 52, on one of the last panels of Trace's flashback, there is a wanted poster of Sirus hidden in the background.

13.Non Keidran dogs.

There are non Keidran dogs in Twokinds, as shown on page 1283. Non Keidran dogs are also implyed to exist even before that (page 1075).

14.Nibbly got Remus nuts.

Nibbly did some damage to Remus' nuts as confirmed by the page 1137 title, and heavily implyed by page 1138 title, as well as the reactions from the characters who saw a dead Remus on page 1152.

15.Sythe's uncle.

For a unamed character that only appears for a single pannel, he is a suprisingly important Twokinds character, as he is the one who sent Natani and Zen to assasinate Trace, Flora and Keith, and is also the reason that Zen didn't kill Sythe in chapter 17, as he needed to capture him alive, since Sythe's uncle is the grand duke. (pages 208, 537, 794)

16.Hidden Mary.

In chapter 8 page 259, in the first panel behind Sirus, you can see Mary. This is also Mary's last appearence in the comic, not counting flashbacks.

17.Mercurial has hands.

In chapter 7 page 206, you can see that Mercurial (Chaos) has hands.

18.Something strange on chapter 18 cover.

On chapter 18 cover, on the last house on the right seems to be a strange and obscured character/figure. I am not sure who it's supposed to be, but my guess is that this might be Seraphina.

19.Alaric can just sense people.

On the last page of chapter 9, Alaric can seemingly sense Keith's presence without even seeing him.

20.Eric can use magic.

As shown on couple pages, Eric can use magic, like turning magic into light and magic for restoring and disableing control spells. (pages 479, 650, 1151, 1282)

Have you ever translated a page from Twokinds in your head while reading it?

Or sm I the only one who ever did this?

Is he dead or alive?

Although it seems that he was killed by Alabaster, Basitin solider 1 does have an extra line in the transcript suggesting he survived. So do you think he is dead or alive?

Trace didn't kill Natani's parents.

And I can prove that with evidence.

Firstly, let's establish the timeline of events. In the dragon mascerade we find out that Natani and Zen have established the link with Clovis' help six months before the events of the dragon mascerade. This matters because we know that Natani and Zen got the mind link after their first mission as assasins, where they were sent to assasinate a powerfull mage named Isaac, but the mission didn't go well since Isaac ended up using dark magic which split Natani's soul and also killed him in the process, and it is only due to this that the mind link needed to be made in the first place. This is further important, since the reason why Natani and Zen became assasins as shown on page 355 is because they were tiered of having to live in the forest outside town and because they were tiered of having to steal and beg for food every day, and in a sense joining the Brotherhood (the assasins guild) was their way of being able to gain a good meal. This is important since the flashback on page 355 timeline wise comes after the flashback on page 300 which happens after the death Natani's and Zen's parents.

With this we can establish the following timeline of events: the death of Natani's and Zen's parents -> flashback on page 300 -> flashback on page 355 -> Natani and Zen becoming assasins -> Natani's and Zen's first mission as assasins -> the mind link between Zen and Natani being created ->(6 months later as stated in the dragon mascerade itself) the events of the dragon mascerade.

Now back to the dragon mascerade, in it we find out that Saria and Trace are not yet married, and by what Saria says at the beggining of the story, it also heavily implies that she didn't have her first talk with Trace yet either (The talk I am reffering to is mentioned on page 405), but after Trace fell in love with her. This means that the dragon mascearde happened when Trace was around 17 years old, Natani was around 6 years old and Zen and Clovis were around 7 years old. We know this is the case as on page 404 Trace was stated to be 16 years old when he became a full-fledged templar, which happened before he fell in love with Saria, so he has to be over 16 years old at the time of the dragon mascerade. The thing that makes it extreamly unlikely for him to be 18 years old is that on page 409 Nora said how after Saria died Trace spent two years locked in his home, and then four years before the current events of the comic he proclaimed himself grand templar. Since Trace is 24 years old at the time of the comic, he would have to be 18 years after Sarias death and during the time he locked himself in his home, and since Teace married Saria before she died, that would mean that Trace married Saria before he was 18 years old. Few other things to mention is that Trace courted Saria in the fall, married her the first of winter and he and Saria were attacked by the assasin at the end of spring (stated on pages 406 and 407), which means there was at least around 7 months between Trace courting Saria and Sarias death.

This makes the following timeline of events: the death of Natani's and Zen's parents -> flashback on page 300 -> flashback on page 355 -> Natani and Zen becoming assasins -> Natani's and Zen's first mission as assasins -> the mind link between Zen and Natani being created ->(6 months later) the events of the dragon mascerade -> first talk between Saria and Trace ->(around a month later) marrige between Saria and Trace ->(around 6 months later) Saria's death -> Trace locking himself in his house for 2 years -> Trace becoming the grand templar ->(4 years later) the events of the comic.

Note: there is a slight contradiction in all of this on page 404 as it was stated that two years (after Trace became a full-fledged templar) he became frustrated as he felt like his talents were wasted, which only changed after he saw Saria, but this information contradicts other information that I have covered and will cover, so I will choose to ignore it (the contradictions are: the six years after Saria's death but before the events of the comic where Trace is 24, the Keith's banishment contradiction that I will mention).

Considering that on page 300 Natani seems to be anywhere from 4 - 6(maximum) years old, this would make Trace 15 - 17 years old at the time. So all we need to do now is see what Trace was doing around this time to determine if he even could have been responsible for the death of Zen's and Natani's parents. All we know from page 404 is the following: he was learning at the templar academy before he was 16 years old, he became a full-fledged templar when he was 16 years old, after that he grew frustrated as he felt his talents were wasted, and it is said that during this time Trace wanted adventure, and not to go on escort missions or finding farmers runaway property (it is also stated on the same page that it was time of peace between humans and keidran, which is also confirmed by Sythe on page 828), after that he fell in love with Saria and tried to get her attention unsuccessfully and it is around here that the dragon mascerade should happen. The only other thing that we know is that at some point Trace visited the Basitin island, likely before Keith was banished, as otherwise Alabaster wouldn't know about Trace, as in order to return from banishment Keith needed to bring Trace with him. Also on page 217 it is basically stated that Trace battled Basitins in a forest, which is likely why Alabaster remembered him, since aside from the fact that Trace was a successfull Templar at the time, if he fought against Basitins and won, he would likely be remembered as a very powerfull templar even before Sarias death. Another thing to note is that Keith was banished 6 years before the beginning of the story, which likely means that Trace visited the Basitin island when he was around 18 years old, but possibly younger, which does sugest that Trace did travel around certain parts of the world during this time. One last thing to note is that Sythe says on page 828 that even just a decade ago (before the events of the comic) things were a lot friendlier between humans and Keidrans.

With this all taken into consideration it becomes basically impossible for Trace to actually be responsible for the death of Zen's and Natani's parents, as peace times were already between humans and keidran even before Natani's and Zen's parents died, making it very unlikely they were killed by humans in general(at least directly), but the only time Trace could have been responsible for their deaths was either when he was still studying to be templar or after he became a full-fledged templar but before he fell in love with Saria, which neither make much sense, as in case of the former he would likely be too busy studying or in the case of the ladder even more unlikely, as he was stated to be frutrated at the time specifically because he wasn't doing anything special at that time.

With all of this I determine that Trace is innocent.

Would you rather say that Twokinds currently has 1297 pages or 1287?

I know what some of you will say immediatly after reading the title, and that is that Twokinds currently has 1297 pages, because if you go to the Twokinds site now and see the number of the latest page, you will see that the latest page is currently page 1297. Or if you go to the page being pinned on this subreddit, you will also see that the page number is 1297. However, although this answer is fine by me, there are some things that need to be considered, like the fact that some Twokinds art or comics which are counted as official Twokinds pages on the site itself are in fact not cannon to the story itself, and by my count there are 10 of these pages.

The pages I am refering to are pages:

92 - the page where Tom says how he took his time off due to his 17th birthday,

109-the one where Tom reads fanmail,

239-Christmas 2005,

277-Tom's birthday art by Aiki,

335-Christmas 2006,

418-Christmas 2007,

472-Christmas 2008,

632-Twokinds 8th anniversary,

691-Twokinds 9th anniversary

and 886-Twokinds 12th anniversary.

If you think that these pages should not be included, especially since similar and more recent comics and art about Twokinds anniversary and holidays aren't counted as official pages, than Twokinds should actually have 1287 pages. So with this in mind, how many pages would you rather say Twokinds has, would you still rather say it has 1297 pages or do you think it makes more sense to say it has 1287 pages?
