I’m in the process of a one month taper. Reducing by roughly 5% a day. First week went great, and honestly only noticed it a little bit, but not enough to hinder my workouts or daily life.
Fast-forward one week later, and it slapped me in the face. I really had to dig deep to start and finish my workouts both today and yesterday. They went ok but obviously way better when caffeinated.
Did anyone here who taper notice something similar as far as feeling ok initially then having withdrawal later on?
I’m thinking 1 green tea in the morning. Maybe a Diet Coke in the afternoon (not everyday) as a pick me up but nothing more than that. Goal would be to keep it at 50-100 mg a day MAX never going above.
I’m one week into weening off caffeine at 5% a day. This is a very slow ween so I figured I wouldn’t feel Anything. To be fair my work and workouts haven’t been impacted really at all. But I noticed I’m more moody and more angry this past week lol. Like just annoyed. Could this be super light withdrawals even though I’m weening slowly?
I’m tapering now but have the urge to just go cold turkey. The issue is I get deathly tired without my afternoon coffee. I can make it through morning then afternoon I’m dead and can’t function at work.
If I take 3 days off and power through is it possible that by day 4 I’ll be able to function? I can’t take a full week but I can take 3 days off
I’m only 300 mg of caffeine which is why I’m surprised. I can’t believe I’m this addicted that I can’t go a day without it ruining my entire workday. Legit pisses me off but all the more reason to quit
