1937 Tula Finnish capture and rework
Looking for some information, got this rifle from my buddy, action is beautifully smooth it looks great. The only problem is the rear leaf sight is a good bit high even at the 100 yard or meter mark whatever its dialed in. So at 100 yards i have to aim what looks like to my eyes about a foot below the target, target im shooting at is a sillohuette steel target roughly 8 inches across. That aim point is the same with silver tip spam can light ball Ruski surplus ammo, some Ruski surplus 7N1, tula steel case, PPU 180 grain soft tips and Bulgarian yellow tip heavy ball. Its a damn accurate rifle after i figured out i have to aim about a foot below the target. When i asked my dad about it he suggested to get a taller front sight post and i was coming here with this to see what everyone had to say, whether thats a good idea or not and where to aquire a good one that will last the life of the rifle. Thanks in advance
