“The Curious World Within” at level 1

Hi, I don’t really have a lot of 5e experience, but I want to run a level 1 one-off in Obojima. Do you think “The Curious World Within” could be run at level 1? I have a little experience DMing in 3.5 and Call of Cthulhu and a lot of experience in Pathfinder 1e, but I don’t understand the numbers in 5e. Thanks.

P.S. If you don’t think it will work, do you know of a level 1 adventure in Obojima?

This is my first attempt at making a 5e monster. What do you think? It may seem weak, but I was shooting for 1/8 CR, so that he could adventure with the party, without being to unbalancing.
