Etiquette Question from a rookie
Hi All,
I was flying into Dresde the other day. There was tower coverage, but not Approach. I coordinated with a LH fligth in advisory freq. so we managed to arrive with enough separation. When I was already on final I see some lights. An aircraft was just cutting into the glideslope. It was not close enough to trigger a TCAS warning, but it was certainly close.
Looking at the STAR I can say for certain that he just cut the line. No STAR would turn to final so close to the runway.
Anyway, Tower asked me to go around. Which was ok. After all, reacting to unexpected event is part of the fun. However, I was a bit surprised that Tower did not told him off at all, or ask him ot go arround directly.
So I was wondering, what is the "by the book" VATSIM procedure in this case?
Thank you to all responding!
