This show was peak, the whole cast had hilarious moments, which is good because I think a show like this SHOULD be a comedy first, but 4/6 of the main cast does have their sad moments

Robert Patrick was perfect for the douchebag yet menacing role of Mario Castle aka the Hate Monger

Love how James Gunn pulled a lot of obscure characters from the catalogue of Marvel, like he did for the WildC.A.T.s trilogy over at DC

The secret invasion plot, while it could’ve been fleshed out a little more, was a cool story. Of course, can’t forget the mid season reveal of Murn being a Skrull, but he’s a good guy. I wish he was kept around until the finale though

Overall this show is fun! What did you think of it?

This movie is pretty much the perfect representation of James Gunn as a director. If you take away all his restraint, this is basically what you would get

For starters: William Hurt returning as Thunderbolt Ross was perfect, even though it is sad this is one of his last roles. He really put his all into this role and he shines as one of the best characters in this movies

Margo Robbie once again returns as Typhoid Mary and this is by far her best performance. And if this is her last time playing the character, I’m glad she has this movie as one last send off. That speech she gave that obviously implies Kingpin (wether it’s Jesse Eisenberg’s or not) is also amazing

While I am sad that Will Smith couldn’t return as Bullseye, Idris Elba is basically playing the same character just ten times better as Taskmaster. I love his rivalry with Punisher. Punisher does get better development during his show but for now he is a fun character and foil to Antony Masters (despite being changed a lot form his comic counterpart)

Beetle and Speed Demon are both VERY niche pulls but I think for the most part they were adapted well. I’m sad Speed Demon died though

Sylvester Stallone’s Rhino was perfectly comedic. Despite him being NOTHING like his comic version, which is something common in this movie, he is just bebay and slander will NOT be tolerated

But also I can’t talk about this movie without talking about how they ACTUALLY adapted Shuma Gorath (OoC: Lowkey the closest equivalent to Starro I could think of). His mind control power was adapted well too but we kind of knew none of the team would get mind control

The opening beach massacre was insane and I gotta respect James introducing a whole team just for most of them to get wiped out in the first 15 minutes, and that includes Shocker SHOCKINGLY enough, and it sucks because he was one of the few standouts in the bad 2016 movie
