Why "The Real 6b6t"?
8b8t is operated by the original team behind 6b6t.
When we launched 6b6t in 2019, we carried over the same principles that had defined 8b8t since 2016: minimal administrative intervention, player-driven gameplay, and quality-of-life features like /home and /tpa without compromising the anarchy experience.
Over time, we rebranded to 8b8t, while ownership of the 6b6t name was "transferred" to someone else. We continued operating under the same philosophy—we just no longer owned the 6b6t name.
That's why we call 8b8t "The Real 6b6t." It's the continuation of the original vision and the team that built it, not just the name.
