Teaching English to Japanese Students Online?

I was a JET Programme participant for 3 years and really enjoyed my job. After JET, I went to graduate school for TESOL. However, I had to quit grad school after one year due to financial issues. I really miss teaching English and I want to start teaching Japanese students again. Are there any good apps or platforms online to teach English to Japanese learners of English? I know the pay is probably pretty low, but I'm currently unemployed right now so some income is definitely better than none. Unfortunately, I don't have a TEFL certificate, but I do have a BA in film and one year of graduate level TESOL classes.

Are there any good apps or platforms I could start teaching on that are safe for women? (I originally considered Cambly, but I later heard that lots of bad stuff happens on that platform especially to female teachers, so I definitely don't want anything like that)

I want safe, paid, online English teaching work, especially teaching Japanese learners of English. Any recommendations?

Mic and Set-Up for Big/Loud Voice Work?

My YouTube channel has very suddenly and unexpectedly grown to a point I need an actual voice over setup...not just my phone while shouting under a blanket (yes, that's what I've been doing for 4 months now...)

I have a tiny closet (3ft longx 2ft widex 6ft tall), an old hp laptop, and a $500 budget for a mic / other stuff to help the closet not sound awful (there's a possibility of converting an actual room into a recording area later on, but the room picks up A LOT of sound from the highway outside)

I have a really big, dynamic voice (Think like MatPat levels of Rollercoaster vocals). I have no idea what to buy for my over the top vocal style. I'm looking at the rode podmic (versatile dynamic broadcast mic) but not sure if that's really good for animated voices and super zany theory videos.

I just want to sound good and keep growing my channel. I want to work my way to actual paid voice gigs. Purchasing advice would be so helpful. I'm leaning towards a usb mic because I know literally nothing about XLR or the cost / equipment necessary for that. But maybe that might be possible too with my budget? Not just USB? I genuinely don't know. Guidance please.

Thank you
