True first edition?

Hello everyone! My local used bookstore shared this. They have already reserved it for me for pickup tomorrow but I know there are much smarter and more informed people here that would be able to identify it and share details. Which impression is it? Is it worth the $1200 they are asking for? To me it's worth it if I can afford it but if this same first edition could also be found for far less..I don't want to rip myself off either.

Kindly share what you can identify about this please. I'll be doing some research for the next few hours too! Thank you!

Ice available at stores?

Are bags of ice normally available at stores? 4 of us are heading for 9 days in mid July and wondering if I should bring my collapsible soft cooler, which only makes sense if we can find ice. I did two weeks in mainland Greece 15 years ago and we drank nothing but warm bottles of water from the car. Trying to avoid that this time.

Any Gen 4 Curved 32" on the market?

I have looked on Google and asked Gemini, looked on RTINGS.com but I can't find any curved Gen 4, 32" OLED gaming monitors, only flat screen. I'm in a position to buy an OLED finally for my 5070ti but not sure if purchasing a Gen 3 Alienware AW3225QF on sale is the right move if Gen 4 is here...
