Need advice on launching in the U.S.?

Hey all 👋

I’m about to launch in the U.S. fulfilling from a 3PL probably in Texas TBC

I would be soo grateful if I could get some guidance from you on how to set up for success, and avoid any unnecessary mistakes, especially as this is the first run we’re doing.

Context

We’re a pet supplies brand, based in the U.K. selling pet bowls to customers in the U.S. 2 SKU’s (500 - 800g)

Aiming to start with one 3PL centrally until we increase volume, and identify where customer density is.

Why U.S.? Well one of our partners behind this brand has a significant social media presence that will act as our lead gen for customers initially which should, but isn’t guaranteed to give us an easier route to conversion as opposed to starting cold. Failing that, they’re world class at content creation which is a god send for marketing.

If the product is poor, then of course it won’t sell regardless of other forms of leverage. This is why it’s been built and tested by users, but also validated through a decent size sample audience 000’s

I’m currently setting up the logistics to get the goods to the states and hope to start fulfilling in November.

🙏🏽 Especially interested to connect with other founders or people with experience doing the same/similar process

Every little gem helps..

Thanks all
