First year World History teacher in Michigan. I have certifications in Secondary English and Social Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I’ve taught many classes over the years, but this will be my first year teaching World History.
Does anyone have any advice? The teacher I’m taking over for is still at the school, but is not super keen for collaboration. I know the class in the past has been taught thematically, instead of chronologically. I like this idea, but just want to get others’ opinions.
