Full ROM suddenly returned!

I've been posting in here since I had a big, mysterious shoulder crack 19 days ago, followed by all sorts of weird arm sensations: a weak feeling, aching, tingling in my hand. Chest pain and pain referred to the back, neck, jaw, and forearms. I couldn’t sleep on that side bc my arm felt tender.

Tonight I was stretching and heard another pop, this time at what felt like the top of my shoulder, and all of a sudden I have full, complete ROM back. Nuts!! I did have some ART in the past week. Maybe that helped.

Posting this for anyone who needs some hope. It's been a very long road. Next month marks three years of FS.

Next step: PT. Keeping fingers crossed the arm stays this way and I can move on with my life!

Arm aching and frozen shoulder?

I’m two months short of three years with frozen shoulder. I’ve basically had “1.5” frozen shoulders, but my right shoulder was SEVERE. And I mean stuck by my side for three months. EXTREME pain. Every treatment made it worse, so I had to suffer for months just using ice and heat.

Over the past year, I’ve gotten about 90% of my range of motion back, with lots of popping and cracking along the way. I haven’t done physical therapy yet. But I have carried groceries, driven, etc.

Last week, I brought my arm across the front of my chest in a hugging motion and felt a seismic pop, followed by a very strange, weak feeling in the formerly frozen arm. The arm was fine the next day and has been fine since. But today, my neck started to pulsate, and the arm started to ache, and the aching was pulsating but just in the front of the arm. I don't understand the healing process for an injury like this. I don’t see any lumps, bumps, or discoloration. I can still use the arm, but it feels incredibly strange and gets almost stiff, too, off and on. I iced it, which helped. It really freaks me out because it feels like FS is lying in wake ready to pounce!

Can anyone describe typical healing patterns for this issue and what they can include? I'm suspecting there must be a menu of experiences here. The FS has referred pain into my wrists, hands, neck, jaw. ribs, etc. It has been horrible. Those are getting better as it gets better, but this has been a LONG ROAD.

I work at a computer, so that has been challenging. I need to start PT ASAP, but I get afraid to push it when it feels so sensitive.
