Need tips on Mariachi sound

So my wife has been watching a lot of media where Mariachi players are shown. I love the sound of a Mariachi trumpet player and actually joined a friend who played in a Mariachi group way back in highschool. It was for a week and I learned a lot and had a ton of fun, didn't get the sound (I know a week isn't enough time)

I really wanna try and get close to that sound and since I'm an adult with some spare time I'd really like some tips or videos on how to get that sound. Plus when I'm paying in my jazz band it would be nice when we are playing latin pieces.

Also, I'm Hispanic so I kinda feel like I need to get in touch with that sound.

Found a new song I love

I absolutely love this song. I fell in love with Takarajima but this one has to be at the top of my list. It might also be another one I have my jazz band try and play. We did Takarajima a few months back (too embarrassed to post)

I love these high energy songs from the series and absolutely want to introduce these songs to as many people as possible and possibly bring more people to this amazing anime.

Im actually making a little cash

Been playing again for about 3 years after a thirteen year break. Ever since I got back into playing I've noticed so many other amazing musicians, not just trumpet players. The thirteen year break really is eating at me.

One thing I struggle with is my lack of higher learning when it comes to music. I lead a community jazz band, I play trumpet, and now I'm making a little cash. I made about 300 last year (a couple of church gigs and transposing work), I'm probably going to make a little more this year.

While I see these as significant ways to show my improvement I constantly feel like I'm still not enough. I still feel like no matter what I do I don't have any education, I don't have a name out in my location, I am just not as good as my peers.

Does anyone struggle with this? Even if they are actually making a little money here and there, or even making a living on their music. I just feel like I'm never going to be good enough.

Been playing for 351 days.

How is my account? While I'm not one for meta I try to keep track of stuff so I can at least get 1st place group B in the graded league. I also stopped playing for a bit due to Trackblazer, but tried to maintain my dailies.

I've pulled for my favorites and pulled for cards that were favorable. My first concern is just for fun, but if I manage to win in the CMs I'll be pretty happy too.

Thanks in advance for any comments or concerns!
