If so it has the desired effect of reaching an ISB supervisor quickly and gives her finances a bit of explanation. At first I thought Perrin was gambling but now realised that Mon might have been using him. Which is it?

I just learned of this movement that came about in the late 1800s and was adopted and loved by the far right in the inter-war period and the Nazis loved its ideas. It rings through all Partagaz's disease metaphors.

It was heavily influenced by ideas of purity not only in deranged racism and nationalism but extended this to viewing 'radical' ideas such as non-traditional art, unhealthy food etc. Purification through 'healthy' living viewed as a cornerstone of their idea of a fascist utopia.
