Looking for the most efficient way to design this condo
I have this 14' × 25' studio condo that we're planning to gut, and I'm looking for ideas to make it as functional and efficient as possible.
This condo is for my wife, me, and our infant. We also hope to design it so we can grow into it for a few years as she gets older, so maximizing every square foot is a priority.
My biggest goals are creating efficient storage and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Ideally, we'd like to fit both a queen bed and a twin bed. One idea is a custom built-in wall unit along the wall where the couch is now, possibly incorporating a Murphy bed, a built-in twin, and plenty of storage (although I know that could get expensive).
Another idea is to remove part of the existing kitchen counter and cabinets to create more of a peninsula or island that opens into the living space, making the condo feel larger while adding functionality.
I'd love to hear any creative ideas or see examples of similar studio renovations. We're open to built-ins, Murphy beds, transformable furniture, clever storage solutions, or even layout changes that would make the space work better for a small family.
I've attached the current floor plan and photos of the condo for reference. Thanks in advance for any ideas or inspiration!
