Found my Grandads stamp collection, some help please.
Hi all.
I think this is a pretty standard story by now. My Grandad died last year and we've been going through his stuff.
And we found his stamp (and coin) collection..... which my Nana had no idea he collected, they'd only been married 75 years.
Taking a quick look on Google, the vast majority are worthless, though some are interesting, seeing some German stamps worth 6 million, due to being from the 1930s was pretty amusing.
Anyway, we came across these 3 black ones (there's also about 10 similar red ones) and these seemed they might be worth a bit more.
I'll hopefully be able to take some photos of the Ed ones in the next few days or so.
Does anyone have any idea, or able to point out a stamp collector/ club we could take them to in the North Yorkshire Harrogate area?
Thanks
