Hallo, keine Ahnung ob das der richtige Ort zum fragen ist aber ein besser passendes subreddit habe ich leider nicht gefunden ....

Also bei mir im Garten sitzt seit heute morgen eine Brieftaube mit drei Fußringen herum. Auf dem einen steht die Zahl 20, die anderen kann ich nicht lesen. Wir haben sie ein bisschen gefüttert und sie hat auch was getrunken aber sie steht da wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt. Jetzt kam uns abends aber der Gedanke, ob sie vielleicht eingefangen werden sollte und ob sie des nachts draußen zurecht kommt?

An wen sollte man sich, falls überhaupt etwas getan werden sollte, am besten wenden? Wohlmöglich kennen wir jemanden, der früher mal Tauben gehalten hatte, können ihn aber frühestens morgen Nachmittag erreichen.

Ich bitte nochmal um Verzeihung, falls dies der falsche Ort ist. Aber dafür findet ihr im Anhang ein Taubenbild :)

The following question just popped into my head and since I have no deeper experience in set theory / abstract logic (I mainly do analysis, so AOC is absolutely fine 😉) I thought to ask here:

We have the universal quantifier ∀ and the existential quantifier ∃. If we have a statement involving the universal quantifier, for example

∀ A in my bag, A is a red apple

we can translate the statement from the set-theoretical statement about the set of "my bag" into formal logic by

A is in my bag =&gt; A is a red apple.

What I would like to know is: does there exist a similar formal / abstract logical way of thinking about the existential quantifier? For example I could have the statement

∃ B in my bag, B is a banana.

I'm not even sure if this question really makes sense, but at the same time I'm not quite sure why it should not. If somebody with more experience in this area of mathematics could give their opinion I would be very grateful. Thank you for reading in any case!
