**No AI, just really bad editing by yours truly.** I used mostly in-game items to Frankenstein together these 1920s-inspired outfits, and I created my ideas for both standard and ultimate battlepass variants. I tried to be historically accurate as much as possible, but I've definitely cut a few corners with some of these. I've attached images I used as inspiration for some of them.
I LOVE the look of the current medieval fantasy season, and it's been a want of mine basically since I started playing. Now that I have it, my immediate reaction is obviously to be greedy and ask for even more stuff I like.
Classic pinstripe mobster. Pretty self-explanatory for the basic outfit. Can you tell this was the first one I created? For the ultimate variant, all I could think to do was add some fur to make the coat look more expensive, as well as using a more luxurious crushed velvet color scheme. I swapped the blazer for a waistcoat (there isn't a single waistcoat currently in the game as far as I know) and swapped the tie for an ascot. I also added a watch chain.
1920s aviator. I like this one a lot more. The game currently has extremely limited offerings for closed jackets, I'm actually not sure if there are any. Other than that, the standard outfit is basically just Amelia Earhart. For the ultimate variant, I just tried to make the outfit edgier. I'm pretty sure the oxygen mask is not historically accurate, as after I finished the outfit I did a deeper dive and apparently oxygen masks for pilots became a thing around a decade later.
Police officer. Don't let the boring look of the standard cop fool you, that long blue police coat was an absolute pain to cobble together. Nothing even remotely similar exists in the game. Not much else to say here. For the ultimate variant, I struggled a bit, but I did find these WWI bodie helmet-style riot helmets that were apparently used in a few instances? I'm not sure. This is probably the most fantastical outfit here, I'm not sure anyone who actually dressed like this ever existed. I think the gas mask style is also from a later decade.
Street ruffian. I pretty much vibed both of these outfits out without really referencing anything in particular. I'm almost positive all of these clothing items were at least available and probably not uncommon during the 1920s. The standard variant was basically just my idea of some low-level criminal. For the ultimate variant, I wanted to do something more luxurious without feeling too similar to the mobster outfits, so I went for a more street fighter/street gang boss vibe. Another waistcoat and watch chain, plus the overcoat worn over the shoulders is cool. I really like the look of the facial hair and hair. Since I didnt really use references for this one, I just included two variants I created, one with no coat, and one with a brown coat.
**Weapons and skins.** I tried to somewhat evenly distribute skins to all classes. It's mostly just wooden-stocked versions of existing guns though. I like my ideas for new weapons, though.
Light: Derringer. I pictured these filling a similar role to the revolver for medium, where the weapon has extremely limited ammo, but good aim can shred enemy health bars. I think it would work best either dual-wielding 2 or 3-shot derringers, or having one 4-shot derringer. Dual wielding is cooler though, so I'd prefer that direction.
Medium: Thompson. You can't make a 1920s-themed season without a Tommy gun. Here, I think this would serve as a high mag capacity weapon for medium. Medium does not currently have any weapons with the primary draw of having a high magazine capacity. Light has ARN, heavy has M60 and minigun. Since it's a 1920s firearm, I also envisioned it having pretty substantial recoil, but I'd leave balancing up to the professionals.
Heavy: Knuckle duster. Definitely the biggest "hear me out" here, but hear me out. Ultra close range melee option for heavy. Fast-attacking 3-hit combo for the left mouse, with low damage but good speed. For the right mouse, you cling to walls. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but I think it could lead to some interesting tec. While holding right mouse against any wall, you grab onto it and slowly slide down instead of falling. You could chain it together by jumping back and forth between two walls to scale heights, and you could use to to stop yourself from falling off the map or falling super far away from a cashout you're defending. I don't know. Maybe I'm dumb and it's a terrible idea. I think it's kind of cool.
Anyway, all that aside, I really just wanted to talk about my ideas. I don't really expect Embark to see this post or take any of my ideas into consideration, but a guy can dream.
Guts (ish) and Puck (ish) Kind of surprised I haven't seen anyone do this yet lol
Couldn't have one eye closed so I used the blind eye from season 8. Other than that it's basically just the final battlepass tier without the helmet.
