- Transcript from my interview with Ryan Condal.

I was watching the making of short at the end of the Episode, and Condal sounded genuinely annoyed and exasperated about having to introducie Daeron into the show. He even had a tone of dismissal about how "The Fandom" and "The Book Readers" were making him out to be 'a big deal'.

It legitimately sounds, from his own mouth, that Condal not only doesn't think Daeron is important but doesn't like the character that much and is all but saying that he's annoyed at the fandom and book readers for making him put Daeron in the show.

He's already butchered the character by taking his chevrons as a war hero for the Greens and making him this Season 1 young!Alicent prototype beholden and subservient to a minor character rather than one of the best Battle Commanders on the field in the war.
