Anyone else's parents were fans of the show?

To start off, I'm a millennial born in the mid 90s, so as a kid I would watch thundercats through reruns on cartoonnetwork. My mom, a Gen X born in the 70s, is also a fan of the show. Way more of a fan than I am to be honest (she owns comics, figures, clothing merch etc.) She watched the show as a teen when it originally aired in the 80s. After they stopped airing it on cartoonnetwork she bought a dvd box set that came out in like 2005 and we would keep rewatching the whole series on dvd. It's a nostalgic show for both of us and something we bond over. I feel like I might be in a minority but did anyone else's parents enjoy the show?

Worried about hemoglobin post discharge and transfer to rehab

I was hospitalized 5/17 for what the doctors believe to be severe vitamin deficiency anemia with hemoglobin at 5.1 (you can check my post history for more information) after about 4 transfusions and b12 shots and folic acid tabs later, it was brought up to about 10 and I was discharged Saturday 5/23 and transferred to a rehab facility for extended monitoring. I do feel better however, today I was informed by the doctor it was now at 8.9. I was very worried but the doctor was not concerned saying it was expected due the blood draws. I think had about 2-3 blood draws in total since discharge and possibly 4 since the last transfusion. There was one the morning of the discharge and another here in the rehab facility. I'm not sure if they're responsible for the drop or perhaps something else but the doctor said it was expected and not be concerned. I don't know if this has been enough time for my hemoglobin to have improved on its own through diet and supplement which I've been receiving here at rehab, but regardless I'm still concerned. For what it's worth my stools are not bloody or black and my urine is not red or dark from blood so I don't think I have any internal bleeding. But this drop does still have me worried.

Is it possible for b12, folate and vitamin c deficiency anemia to present like hemolytic anemia?

If you check my post history I'm currently Hospitalized for anemia where there appeared to be red blood cell destruction and multiple vitamin deficiencies however the doctors have been treating it with transfusions, b12 shots and folic acid. However I believe there is also an underlying severe vitamin c deficiency as my diet was completely lacking any. Could that be contributing to the anemia? My legs are very bruised and stiff and sore and I believe I have some other symptoms of possible scurvy such as bleeding gums. The doctors have agreed to add vitamin C supplements to the treatment which I'm hoping would help.

Hospitalized for severe anemia. Now getting transferred to rehab. Unsure about everything.

I was hospitalized for anemia on Sunday with my hemoglobin at 5.1. (down from 17 per my blood panel in February) 4 blood transfusions, some b12 shots, folic acid tabs, many blood panels and a bone marrow biopsy later they were able to bring it up and stabilize it at 8. They believe it is likely a vitamin deficiency type of anemia due to my restrictive diet. They mentioned my blood cells were seemingly destroyed or died faster than they could be replaced but the treatments have finally gotten them going again so I'm not sure if that helps identify the type. But apparently their next step is to move me to a rehab facility tomorrow where after I'll probably be discharged from there. I'm still completely new to this whole anemia thing and it scares me. Does that at all seem like a normal thing to do? Is physical therapy supposed to be a thing during anemia recovery? The anemia left my legs very sore and stiff. I just don't know at all. I'd appreciate all help and advice. Insight possibly.

First time anemia. Currently hospitalized. Seeking advice and support not sure how to proceed from here.

It's a bit of a story but I'll try my best to make it as understandable as possible. Let me start by saying me and family have no history of anemia episodes and this is all new to me. New and terrifying. On Sunday 5/17 I went to the hospital after dealing with like 2 weeks of pain, stiffness and bruising in my legs that I assumed was a muscle tear, but wouldn't get better, thinking it might be something more serious like perhaps a blood clot. Just simply standing up and walking caused a lot of pain and strain and took a lot out of me. I was admitted, tests were ran, and they diagnosed me as being severely anemic with my RBC/Hemoglobin? Being at only 5.1 (down from 17 per my blood work done in February). 4 days, 4 blood transfusions, some b12 injections, many blood draws, ultrasounds, CT scans, and recent bone marrow biopsy later, here I am, laying in a bed, still awaiting biopsy results. Still feeling lost and scared and unsure how to proceed exactly. I was admitted at 5.1 but according to the last update from my doctors it was back up to about 8 I think. After the first transfusions my hemoglobin rose but then fell again but after some more it has seemed to stabilize. The doctors said I had a slow start but finally got going. They're still drawing blood, monitoring and determining the type/cause of my new anemia as well as awaiting the biopsy. But they say they are leaning towards it being a vitamin deficiency type due to my very restrictive diet. I may be getting discharged soon and I'm still unsure on how to go from here. Looking for advice and support. Please and thank you.
