SUPER MARIO BROS 3. Is it as good as people say?

I beat the game awhile ago and I gotta say, it is really good, even to this day!

The controls are really responsive and feel even better than SMB2, and that games controls are also really good. The level design is also really good, whenever I replay the game I feel like I’m playing Super Mario world but for NES, and that game is so on par or even better than SMB3. The only gripes I have with the game is the color pallet, and the Second player (Luigi).

In almost the entire game, the color pallet looks really colorless, I’m not saying the game has no color, or that it looks completely terrible, I’m just saying the colors are as unappealing as beige. The other gripe I have is Luigi. In SMB3 Luigi loses all character as he is only a pallet swap Mario for player 2. This sucks as his different play style made playing him a complete different experience, like SMB2, but now he’s just “PLAYER 2” and I say that sucks, but again it’s not completely terrible, it doesn’t ruin the game or anything.

Even with these cons I say you should still play the game as it has aged as well as SMB2 and World. It’s just an experience you can’t miss, so go get a Nintendo console and go have fun.

That’s all from me, what are your opinions?
Leave them down bellow.

SUPER MARIO BROS 2. Is it still a good game to play?

Yes, SMB2 is still a fun and good game to this day. I recently played through the game and omg was it an experience.

First of all, the level design is really good for a of it’s time, the up and down movement is really refreshing after SMB1, and even though the game pauses to move the screen to show the upper or lower part of where your headed, it doesn’t really effect the gameplay that much, making it just a tedious way to scroll the screen up and down.

The characters are the main stars of the show though, as each character has their own distinct way of play. Mario is all around, Luigi jumps high and has slippery movement, Toad is quick with grabbing and throwing, and Peach is the most overpowered with her float jump. I mainly use Mario, as he is my favorite character and he’s the easiest to use and play with. I also use Peach but only in the more difficult platforming levels, but overall all these characters are great to play as.

I recommend playing the GBA version of SMB2 as it has the most content out of all versions, but at the end of the day there all relatively great in there own special way.

So yeah, the game is still pretty fun to play today. It’s a really under appreciated game in the series, and in my eyes it should be looked at with a lot of more respect knowing how much it has done and added to the Super Mario series as a whole. What do you feel about the game? Let me know down in the comments. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
