I dont know if i should get the normal portapack or the portapack pro. I would really like to get the pro version but there are some things bothering me;

- Firmwares arent as reliable

- Design, i like the Standard portapack design wayy more

- Price in comparison to normal portapack

So far ive been using macrodroid and i have been very happy. But i recently tried Automate and i was surprised by the much more options it has. Do you think its worth switching? Because macrodroid is way more intuitive and probably still has everything i need

I tried adding a nrf module to my t embed (not cc1101 or cc1101 plus), but its not working. Usually you would have to solder it but i connected it with wires.

Wiring:

GND to GND

VCC to 3V3

CE to IO16

CSN to IO17

MOSI to IO41

MISO to IO38

SCK to IO40

Theres also IRQ available on the nrf module but from what ive read its not necessary.

Im gonna get the portapack from OpenSDRLabs, is the firmware already preinstalled? And if its not a new version of the firmware, how do i update it?

I upgraded my nrf antenna to an 8 dbi one from bingfu, and it only works a from a few centimeters away, whether its next to the receiver or transmitter.

But i see so many Videos where the internal antenna version jamms from more far away than mine. What am i doing wrong?

Edit: for anyone having the same problem i recommend just getting the new bruce version. I just upgraded and holy shit it works so good now, even with the internal antenna

I started playing about a year ago and i remember the game being perfect. Since then it feels like every update they made, the game got worse.

Now i cant even access the menu, matchmaking sucks, servers lag sometimes, the game sometimes crashes. It feels like they are trying to make their game worse and worse

I bought a grove rf transmitter, from seeed Studio, i plugged it in and it doesnt work (i scanned for Signals with my t embed cc1101). I also recently bought a ir transmitter and that worked instanly with no issues. Can anyone help me please?

Im thinking about switching to linux, but one thing is holding me back; piracy. For example, for games i use steamtools and i have no idea how that would work on linux. Also i have no idea how i would pirate spotify premium, because on windows i use spotX.

For maybe 5 more dollars you can get the plus version which has more features, so why buy the standard cc1101?

A friend of mine just bought a flipper, but it honestly seems wayy to overpriced. The features are really cool, but paying for the wifi board to have features like connecting to the wifi doesnt really make sense. The t embed from lilygo basically has all the same features, the only ,,problem" is that there is no real fanbase to help or advance the product.

I have the standard model T Embed, but i have no Idea what kind of port it has (the other port, not usb c), because the official site says its a grove port, the lilygo Wiki site says its a qwiic port. Can anyone help me please?
