multiple people mark your papers

I'm not sure if this is the case for every exam board, but it certainly is for aqa.

I have teachers who mark for exam boards and they all say that you get given one question from a certain exam and mark ~100 of those. you don't get given an entire paper to mark, only specific questions.

this is likely to avoid bias and to improve efficiency. so, if you're worried about your other answers influencing your marks, you should be alright! (especially if it is an aqa non-essay based subject, as that is where I have heard of this practice being done).

anyone else feel tired, nauseous, lightheaded, etc. when waking up? especially when waking up 2-3 hours later than usual?

I'm not sure if this is anxiety related - I'm not sure whether I even really struggle with anxiety, to be honest.

I usually wake up around 7:45. recently, I've been sleeping in, so waking up around 9:30-11. whenever I wake up at this time, I feel very lightheaded. not dizzy as such, but as though I am sick with a cold or something. it doesn't go away after eating or drinking coffee, only after a few hours, but no consistent time.

I suspect this is as a result of anxiety since I have been experiencing various other somatic symptoms recently - twitches, shortness of breath, shaking - without any actual worry. if anyone has had similar issues or has got any advice, let me know.

to compare 'the white lady loves you more' and 'twilight':

these songs - in my mind - portray the same situation from different perspectives. 'the white lady loves you more' while 'I'm already somebody's baby'.

it is one of the main reasons I find faboth to be a far more painful album when compared to his earlier work. it and self-titled are very similar in subject matter, but the descriptions in faboth feel far more personal.

you could go further, you could take 'bled white' to be a midpoint of sorts for these two songs. a 'dream you won't remember flashing on, like a cop's light' becomes a 'yesterday dream', connected through a 'friend' which then becomes going 'off to sleep in the sunshine' because 'I don't want to see the day when it's dying'.

I'm not intending to extract anything on elliott himself from this. it's just an observation, a comment on the songwriting more than anything.

official elliott merch?

does anyone have a good catalogue of official elliott merch? I'm having a look on ebay, vinted and such, but it's so difficult to tell what is legit merch vs from another source. if anyone has anywhere that you can buy official merch, I'd love to see that too! cheers
